Theatre New Brunswick announced a big milestone today as they embark on their 50th anniversary season. From September 2018 to April 2019, TNB will be presenting an exciting lineup of seven productions across the province: Any Given Moment, Come Down From Up River, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Gretel & Hansel, Sania the Destroyer, A Brief History of the Maritimes and Everywhere Else, and The Wizard of Oz. In Review: Theatre Konstanz Travel From Germany To SJTC For Their Production Of ‘Medea’
Last night the Saint John Theatre Company hosted Theatre Konstanz’s production of the Ancient Greek tragedy Medea, directed by Mark Zurmühle. This spectacular performance was the result of a summer visit to Saint John by the Intendant of Theatre Konstanz, Prof. Dr. Dr. Christoph Nix, in 2015. He toured the SJTC production facility and it was the beginning of a beautiful cultural exchange between the two theatre groups. In January 2017 the SJTC took its performance of An Enemy of the People to Konstanz in Germany. And last evening the SJTC hosted a special VIP performance of Medea. In Review: SJTC’s ‘Shakespeare in Love’ – Come For The Romance, Stay For The Sword Fights
Last night, March 21, 2018, Saint John got a sneak peek at the Saint John Theatre Company’s second main stage production Shakespeare in Love directed by Sandra Bell. The play, adapted by Lee Hall, was based on the 1998 movie screenplay by Marc Norman and Tom Stoppard. The official opening performance takes place tonight at 7:30pm at the Imperial Theatre. In Review: Murmuration Theatre Collective Debut Their Production Of ‘Lungs’
Saint John theatregoers have been itching to see another play since the Theatre New Brunswick (TNB) production of A Christmas Carol back in December.
