Single: Jamie Comeau & The Crooked Teeth Release ‘Tall Pine’ Just in Time for CBC Searchlight

We’ve talked about this before. It’s only been a matter of time. Jamie Comeau & The Crooked Teeth, the most exciting band to come out of Saint John in years, finally drop the first single from their upcoming debut album. “Tall Pine,” recorded at Marshall Studios in Fredericton with Jay Merrill, might have a message that suggests you take some time to relax, but the band wrapped it up in a tune that consistently gets festival crowds up and dancing. Single: Tomato/Tomato’s ‘Kite Song’ is Warm Fuzzies and Big Horns

Not to say that Tomato/Tomato have had any false starts, but every band experience a period of finding their footing as they experience success on increasingly larger scales. Tomato/Tomato are less than a month away from releasing their new album, Canary in a Coal Mine, and it might just be the album they’re forever remembered for — it’s likely to dwarf their previous releases.
