Single: Dylan Menzie Offers a Self-Reliant Shot in the Arm With ‘Have Faith’

Dylan Menzie’s latest single might be the Jesus-take-the-wheel moment we’re all due for. “Have Faith,” the second single to be released from his Lost in Dreams album isn’t necessarily religious, but a reminder to believe yourself, the fact that you have survived thus far, and along with your accumulated skills (and a little luck), may continue to so. Music Video: The Burning Hell Yearn for the Forbidden Fruit of Human Contact on ‘I Want to Drink in a Bar’

The Burning Hell released their latest album all of three days ago, but with a super-abundance of free time on their hands it seems like they’ve found ample occasion to get creative and a little stir-crazy. With all large gatherings already cancelled until 2021 in neighbouring New Brunswick, the prospects that festival season would continue business-as-usual seem grim. Today, Prince Edward Island’s Cavendish Beach Music Festival made the call to officially announce the cancellation of their 2020 festival. Single: Rachel Beck Pens an Ode to Forests on ‘Stronger Than You Know’

Rachel Beck is working her way towards her sophomore album, and amongst the singles that trickled out we find a particular theme emerging: a message of strength, and beauty, and resilience. In the case of “Stronger Than You Know,” the album’s title track, Beck finds inspiration in the enduring, malleable nature of forests, offering “a hopeful reflection on inner strength and perseverance through challenging times” from our carbon-sequestering companions. And, hopefully, they will outlast us all. Continue reading Single: Rachel Beck Pens an Ode to Forests on ‘Stronger Than You Know’
