We’ve got some concerns. Our beloved Partner, those darlings of Sackville, may have crafted the best album of 2017 and maybe even one of the best stoner rock albums of all time, but it might not be enough to escape the sophomore slump. Music Video: Partner Blow Through Dozens of Dollars Producing New Video for ‘Lost My Pick, Can I Borrow One?’
Partner may have just been declared the creator’s of Canada greatest rock album of the year, and they may have just won the $10,000 SOCAN Songwriting Prize for their single “Play The Field,” but it doesn’t looking like they’re spending any of that cash on film equipment. They’ve slapped together their latest single “Lost My Pick, Can I Borrow One?” with a DIY video that might have cost them $40 if you include the candle, plus a two-four if they had to borrow their bud’s GoPro.
