It’s been nearly two months since Handworks Gallery in Saint John, New Brunswick shut their doors. Like all non-essential businesses, the COVID-19 pandemic left the art gallery with no other option but to close to the public and seek out new methods for conducting their business. Now, with the province of New Brunswick entering the “Orange Phase” of their COVID-recovery plan and easing restrictions, Handworks Gallery is preparing to reopen with several new precautionary measures in place. Cavendish Beach Announces Cancellation of 2020 Music Festival
The inevitable has come to Prince Edward Island. Despite the announcement that the province would be easing back on the isolation measures put into place due to COVID-19, music festivals aren’t about to make the cut. With all large gatherings already cancelled until 2021 in neighbouring New Brunswick, the prospects that festival season would continue business-as-usual seem grim. Today, Prince Edward Island’s Cavendish Beach Music Festival made the call to officially announce the cancellation of their 2020 festival.
