Music Video: Mo Kenney Strips Down ‘Ahead of Myself’ for Acoustic Performance

Mo Kenney has released a single for what would be possibly our most anticipated album of 2019. The thing is, Mo Kenney hasn’t announced any plans to release an album yet. But, along with a new for video for “Ahead of Myself,” one of The East’s Best Songs of 2019 (So Far), there’s a series of tour dates that will take her across the UK and back through the Maritime provinces before the end of summer. Music Video: Youngtree & The Blooms Revisit Their Mortality With ‘Dirt Party’

From their debut album, Musical Chairs, Youngtree & The Blooms are revisiting their favourite perennial topic of our temporary natures, that is to say, death. Filmed by videographer (and possibly the best iceberg photographer in Newfoundland) Tom Cochrane at the Rocket Room in downtown St. John’s, NL, the band turned a private evening of song into a celebration of their charmingly morbid toe-tappers.
