Shivering Songs’ festival organizers announced today the musical makeup for your cure to the winter blues. Today, they unveiled the full 2020 line-up, adding more than two dozen artists to the tenth anniversary edition of the Fredericton-based festival. Dubbed Shivering Songs X – Homecoming the festival puts special emphasis on supporting local this year, focusing on some particularly choice homegrown acts. Following a very unique Valentine’s Day surprise of a cease-and-desist letter from Los Angeles-based street art and clothing brand OBEY Giant last year, Halifax’s OBEY Convention were left somewhat adrift. Music PEI Announce Full Festival Lineup for 2020 Credit Union Music PEI Week
Music PEI have announced their full lineup for their annual Credit Union Music PEI Week. Taking place over five days, running from February 5th to 9th, 2020, the event celebrates the best of Prince Edward Island’s very musical culture. The week long festivities span venues across the island, with the main event happening downtown Charlottetown at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel, who will be playing host for the 2020 Music PEI Awards party. AREA 506 Staying Put at Saint John Waterfront
The City of Saint John has been abuzz lately, full of speculation for what might develop on the city’s waterfront property following the demolition of the site’s Coast Guard Building. One major concern for the location is the possibility of any new development displacing the AREA 506 music festival.
