Charlottetown’s new four-day arts-centric event, Flotilla, ran from the 21st to the 24th of September and took the form of varied events, all geared towards educating the public, showcasing artists and provoking thought. Crowds Flock To Charlottetown For Art In The Open
Charlottetown’s seventh annual Art In The Open contemporary arts festival took place August 26th and drew in hundreds of spectators. The artwork and performances in this year’s festival followed a “School” theme, which acted as a reminder of how much we can communicate through art and culture, as well as how much the two can teach us. Kaneshii Vinyl Press – Our New Vinyl Overlords
A Prince Edward Island company is pressing forward with their plans to open a vinyl plant in Charlottetown, and I for one welcome our new vinyl overlords. Kaneshii Vinyl Press hopes to start pressing some sweet grooves within the first quarter of this year.
