Area 506 Announce Their 2017 Festival Line-Up
Last summer, Area 506 surprised the people of Saint John. First, by announcing that uptown Saint John would be getting a festival celebrating music and culture inside of a post apocalyptic arena constructed from shipping containers. Area 506 Festival Celebrates New Brunswick on Long Wharf
Last weekend the inaugural Area 506 Festival was held in Saint John. Part music festival, part celebration of all things New Brunswick, the event was held at Saint John’s perennial ‘What to do with this next?’ property: Long Wharf, in a fairly unique venue built using a structure much esteemed by the port, and hipsters alike: the humble shipping container. This evening at Saint John’s Bourbon Quarter Restaurant an announcement was made that a new festival will be held along the Saint John Waterfront during the New Brunswick Day long weekend.
