Since 2014, Festival Inspire has been delivering colour to the streets of Riverview, Dieppe and Moncton in an annual week-long event. This year’s festival brought a total of 13 new murals to these streets and continued toward Festival Inspire’s goal to turn Greater Moncton into a visual wonderland for all to enjoy.

Deanna Musgrave’s artwork should be familiar to many people in Saint John. Her massive 56′ x 10′ painting ‘Cloud’ hangs in the Hans W. Klohn Commons at the University of New Brunswick Saint John Campus. It’s hard to miss.
Glenn Priestley is a Fredericton, New Brunswick artist whose drawings, pastels and oil paintings can elevate aspects of daily life, even the mundane, to classical opulence. The intuitive play he creates is a confluence in the interacting figures, everyday places, and a rediscovery of forgotten kitsch treasures. It’s a balance that can only be struck by an artist who has achieved a mastery of skill in the language of painting, colour and form.
