ECMA Announces First Round of 2021 East Coast Music Award Winners
With an evening hosted by Jay Malone and Justine Williamson, the 2021 East Coast Music Awards took to social media for a cootie-free virtual award show. Featuring performances by Beòlach, Classified, Hauler, Jimmy Rankin, Keonté Beals, Les Hay Babies, Like A Motorcycle, Rachel Beck, Rich Aucoin, Rose Cousins, Silver Wolf Band, and Zamani, the evening saw the first batch of 14 award-winners named, along with a special tribute to Rita MacNeil, performed by former bandmates friends and more to celebrate her induction into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. AREA 506 Returns – Saint John Music Festival Announces 2021 Concert Series
After a quiet year and a half, Saint John’s waterfront is about to get a little louder and it has nothing to do with AIM Recycling. Red Rover Craft Cider Finds New Home in Fredericton Northside Farm
When we first met Adam Clawson and Nicola Mason of Red Rover Craft Cider seven years ago, they were working out of Picaroon’s former brewery location in an industrial park north of Fredericton. Since then, we’ve seen their operation grow to include their cidery and outlet off of Fredericton’s Hanwell Road to their very polished downtown boutique cider house, The Abbey along with several more market locations. In their nine years of operation, they’ve been recognized as an internationally award-winning cider producer, and can now be found in stores across Canada.
Now, the Red Rover Craft Cider has announced they’ve found a new place to call home, and a proper one it is. They’ve announced that they’ve acquired the historic Neill Family Farm, located in Devon on Fredericton’s Northside, and will be moving the full of the operations there in June of 2021.
