Folly Fest holds a special place in our hearts as possibly the best music festival in Atlantic Canada. Year after year we head back to Gagetown, New Brunswick like clockwork. As we’ve said before, it’s more than just a festival. It’s practically the closest thing you can get to a family reunion without being related to anyone. Paddlefest Announce First Round of 2019 Performers
Celebrating what is widely recognized throughout the province of New Brunswick as the end of unpalatable weather and the unofficial kickoff of the summer festival season, Paddlefest is a great reason to clear your schedule for a long weekend in Saint Andrews. Held from May 16th to 19th, the annual event sees the picturesque town come alive with music, art and paddling/environmental-themed activities. Seachange Music: Stan Rogers Folk Festival’s Artistic Director turns Festival Consultant
For up-and-coming (or even well-known) musicians and artists, finding the time it takes to properly sell your art and make a living off it can be daunting. With little circulating knowledge on how to manage your business circulating in the local music community, important tasks like applying for grants often get put on the back burner. Chris Greencorn, artistic director of the Stan Rogers Folk Festival, sees this problem and has created Seachange Music: a program designed to help musicians and music festivals with these important but tedious tasks.
