Monthly Roundup: November 2017
It was a damp, drizzly November in our collective souls. Angry mobs took to their social media with pitchforks and torches and memes like an online version of The Purge, and they razed a swath of degradation through whatever was left of our surviving celebrities.
In the meantime, in an arena that has been ceded to the absurd for so long that we no long question it, Kim Jong-un and Donald have switched from hurling insults across Twitter to lobbing ballistics and threatening to wipe the rest of us out.
Back at home, Erin Costelo makes history as the first woman to win the Nova Scotia Music Award for Producer of the Year. It’s a shame we don’t get more excited about the victories that don’t involve bloodshed.
