SappyFest Announce First Acts of 2019 Lineup – Includes Snotty Nose Rez Kids and The Weather Station

Sackville, New Brunswick just discovered exactly how they’re going to get shaken up this summer with the announcement of this year’s SappyFest lineup.  At least the first installment of them anyway. Returning for their 14th, the festival are preparing to push further into new territory.

East Coast Music Awards Announce Full List of 2019 Winners

Charlottetown, PE became ground zero for music in Atlantic Canada this week with the celebration of the East Coast Music Awards. Performances took over venues across the city, but none were so busy as the Confederation Ballroom at Delta Hotels by Marriott Prince Edward. With many of the awards handed out on Thursday night’s Awards Gala, there was still the absolutely crucial Industry Awards to be served up. East Coast Music Awards Announce 2019 Winners – Jeremy Dutcher, Les Hôtesses d’Hilaire, Classified Leading the Way

Today the East Coast Music Association did very little to settle the debate over which island is the island, with host and PEI native Jonathan Torrens squaring off, mid-musical number, against Newfoundland’s The Once. If anything, they only drew national attention to it. However, we have learned in the process, who is taking home the bulk of the East Coast Music Awards. The Saint John Theatre Company Announces Their 30th Season

The Saint John Theatre Company celebrated a milestone today as they announce their 30th season. At an event hosted by SJTC Artistic Director Stephen Tobias and SJTC Board President George Daniel at their current BMO Studio location on Princess Street, they presented the theatre company’s major productions for 2019-2020. The announcements today included three Main Stage Series works that will be performed on the Imperial Theatre stage, and several smaller productions that will be hosted at their own BMO Studio Theatre.
