Music PEI Announce 2022 Award Nominees — Alicia Toner, Andrew Waite & Dylan Menzie Top Contenders

Music PEI Week is returning, with their annual celebration of the island’s music industry and performers with their SOCAN Songwriter of the Year Concert and the Festival Finale concert featuring the top nominees of 2022. Of course, the big news today is who will be among those nominees.

First among the 2022 Music PEI Award nominees is Alicia Toner, whose new album Joan has earned her seven nominations, in the categories of Album of the Year, Solo Recording of the Year, and Contemporary Roots Recording of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Digital Achievement of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Very close behind are Andrew Waite with six nominations, Dylan Menzie with five, and Logan Richard, Joce Reyome, Brandon Howard Roy,  Dennis Ellsworth, and Sarah Hagen, all with four nominations each.
