We now certainly know who would be King at the 2021 Music Nova Scotia Awards. Keonté Beals, who released his album KING almost a year ago, stands out among those announced today with eight nominations. Music Nova Scotia also announced today that their annual Industry and Music Awards show November 7 in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Keonté Beals leads the way nominations in the categories of African Nova Scotian Artist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Inspirational Recording of the Year, Music Video of the Year, R&B/Soul Recording of the Year, Recording of the Year, Solo Recording of the Year and Songwriter of the Year. It almost feels like it would be easier to list the categories Beals is not nominated in.
Not far behind, with five nominations apiece are Aquakultre, Dave Sampson, Hillsburn, Kim Harris, and Neon Dreams.
