Winners of FIN Atlantic International Film Festival 2020 Announced

FIN Atlantic International Film Festival took advantage of moving their usual eight-day celebration of film and media to a digital format this year, by making their live-stream audience a part of the awards process. Today, FIN announced the winners for their FIN Stream Audience Choice awards, and the audience very clearly had one filmmaker in mind.

Halifax-based filmmaker Taylor Olson and his film Bone Cage took awards in no less than four categories. Based on the play by Nova Scotian author Catherine Banks, Bone Cage stars Olson in the role of conflicted-clear cutter Jamie, who surveys the landscape he has wreaked havoc on at the end of every shift, rescuing the many animals injured in the wake of the destruction.

Bone Cage won in all of the awards in its eligible categories, while Olsen took an additional win in the category of Best Atlantic Short for his film Inceldom, or why are the angry men angry.
