Jont attempts to smash your preconceived notions of the world with his new single, “I Think It Could Be Possible.” With its ringing affirmations taking on a mantric quality set to bombastic drums and the click and jangle of acoustic guitars, Jont asks us if we think change is possible. His growing audience provides the answer in full shout-chorus. This message is infectiously positive, enough so to awake the spirit of even the most battle-hardened skeptic like me.
“I Think It Could Be Possible” is the first single from Jont’s upcoming release Thank You For The Medicine. He hopes that this uplifting anthem is an antidote for the powerlessness people feel in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are all going through a seriously challenging time right now. But music is a great way to bring us together…singing what you are feeling and expressing your truth is powerful medicine.”
The video features people participating in this healing by both administering and taking the medicine that Jont offers by singing their hearts out on camera all over the world in whatever fashions they see fit. Created by The Moncton Man himself, Jeep Jones, the video is a fun romp that will leave you smiling and believing in change.
“So, seeing that a lot of people are sat around at home and many are looking for fun things to do – I’ve started this thing I’m calling ‘The Possible Challenge’, inviting people to film themselves doing their own version of the song. We’ve already had enough great versions sent in to make one really fun video. “
