Shivering Songs has shared the second set of ten artists who will be performing as part of their tenth anniversary edition. Running from January 29th to February 2nd in Fredericton, New Brunswick, the festival adds a silver-lining to frostbite while putting an extra emphasis on supporting local this year.
Today festival organizers announced that the lineup for Shivering Songs X – Homecoming just gained the additions of Julie Aubé, Mike Trask, Cedric Noel, Brent Mason, Greg Harrison (FUZE Orchestra), LAPS, Cedric Vieno, Spoutnique, Pallmer, and Matt Brennan (Citizen Bravo) .
They be joining the previously announced acts of Mount Eerie & Julie Doiron’s Lost Wisdom, Matt Andersen, Les Hay Babies, Michael Feuerstack, Zaum, Motherhood, The Hypochondriacs, Tomato/Tomato, Andrew Sisk’s Alden Nowlan Tribute, The Alan Jeffries Bluegrass Brunch, along with a special reunion show from The Belle Comedians and, of course, the festival’s founders and musical mainstays, The Olympic Symphonium.
Shivering Songs’ organizers also note that Festival Passes and individual tickets to both Matt Andersen and The Belle Comedians Reunion have already sold out, and to compensate they have added The Belle Comedians as support for the Saturday, February 1st Fredericton Farmers’ Market show with Fredericton’s The Hypochondriacs and Acadian indie folk-trio Les Hay Babies.
Once again, festival co-organizer Zach Atkinson emphasizes that this year’s festival very purposefully celebrates a wealth of New Brunswick artists. “We’re thrilled to use this milestone in our own story as an opportunity to recognize the tremendous impact of these artists on our province and beyond.”
Built around the Wilmot Church in Fredericton, New Brunswick and filling out many venues around the capital city’s downtown core, Shivering Songs take place between January 29th and February 2nd, 2020.
A limited number of Saturday Passes and remaining individual tickets for the Fredericton Market show are currently on sale at www.shiveringsongs.com
