With the screening of retro film Jaws set for June 24, Saint John’s entertainment mainstay Imperial Theatre will be wrapping up for another summer. With the 25th season coming to an end, the theatre has released the full schedule of events for its 26th season to get theatre-goers excited for what’s to come.
Spanning from 22 September 2019 to 29 June 2020, the schedule boasts 59 acts, mainly comprised of musical performances and retro film screenings. The theatre will also be hosting dance, comedy, circus and magic productions on top of its nine scheduled theatre productions.
Presenting acts from as far as Australia, like Gravity & Other Myths, Jessie Lloyd’s Mission Songs Project and Lloyd Spiegel; acts for children’s entertainment, like Dufflebag Theatre’s Little Red Riding Hood, The Joshua Show and retro film Babe; and local musical favourites, likes Les Hôtesses d’Hillaire, Tomato/Tomato and Jeremy Dutcher, the upcoming season’s schedule really does have something for everyone.
And don’t forget, this season we’ll have the Imperial Theatre’s new marquee and renovated lobby to enjoy.
