Nova Scotia’s musically inclined have made their annual pilgrimage to the Music Nova Scotia Week in Truro, to see forty-nine awards handed out in forty-eight categories. Now we know who got their names engraved on them.
For those who had placed their bets earlier, please recall that Hillsburn led the nominations with a total of six, David Myles, Gabrielle Papillon, Matt Steele & The Corvette Sunset and Mo Kenney all followed with four nominations each.
In the end, Mo Kenney (we called it) and David Myles (not so much this one) both came away with two awards out of their four nominations, Maxim Cormier won two awards, Gabrielle Papillon and Hillsburn both squeaked in with one, and I’mma let you finish, but Matt Steele & the Corvette Sunset got robbed!
