New Brunswickers Win Big At 2017 Silver Wave Film Festival

Last night, the Annual Silver Wave Awards handed out their awards for films and filmmakers from all over the world. Over a hundred films were shown during the four day festival, however, the big winners ultimately were New Brunswick Filmmakers.

“New Brunswick filmmakers and filmmakers from away create dynamic, engaging stories that are a privilege to showcase annually at our popular grassroots festival. Homegrown New Brunswick stories are the cornerstone of SWFF. They are all gems that shine, sparkle and dance on the screen for our audiences. All the Silver Wave filmmakers are our stars. We created this showcase festival in 2000 for them. The event is a film love letter that runs for four days in New Brunswick,” says Cat LeBlanc, Silver Wave Film Festival organizer.
