Little You Little Me, Saint John’s resident rockers, have released a pair of live videos for their songs ‘I Don’t Care About You’ from their 2014 release What Have You Been Doing With Yer Time and ‘Mountain’ from their 2013 EP. The videos come just ahead of the announcement that they’re embarking on a fall tour on the east coast, including a stop at Festival (506), before making their way to Quebec and Ontario.
“The goal of any tour or show is to hopefully have new ears and eyes to experience us,” say Geoff Smith, LYLM’s bass player, as the band prepare to expose themselves to as many Upper Canadians as possible.
Smith says the tour will be featuring some classic LYLM material, but they’ll also be showcasing some songs from their new album, which is expected later this winter.
“We are very excited about the new and newly recycled songs. ‘Mountain’ originally appeared on our debut EP in 2013 and ‘I Don’t Care About You’ originally appeared on our debut album “What Have You Been Doing With Yer Time?” in 2014. I’ve always felt that as a band we’re at our best when we allow our pop sensibilities to take center stage and I believe our forthcoming EP ‘In Under Fourteen Highly Concentrated Minutes’ highlights the truth in my testimony.”
Joining Little You Little Me on their tour are punk duo Heart Attack Kids out of London, Ontario. “HAK are a powerful duo that are a blast to watch perform,” says Smith. “We’ll have to be at our best to not have them blow us out of the water.”
